Ask and you shall receive Amber!
I signed up for a bootcamp that was originally on Sunday mornings outside. The trainer who runs it joined up with the owner of this TruFit facility recently and it’s been awesome(and air conditioned!).
It’s 3 sets of 15 minute sessions where each station is a 1 minute interval. Each week the stations are a little different but continue to switch between strength training and cardio.
The best part is the facility provides heart rate monitors that show calories burned and maximum heart rate percentage reached. The main goal is to get or keep yourself between 80-90%(Orange Zone) or 90-100%(Red Zone) maximum heart rate.
Because I’ve been doing intervals with my running for forever, I haven’t hit the red zone since I started this bootcamp. I literally thought I was going to throw up this week trying to get there this week.
I’m addicted and fiercely determined to push myself into that red zone.
